DATASPEED, an important Sensrad partner, has won the land segment and the overall title in the inaugural Uncrewed Triple Challenge 2025 – a U.S. military-sponsored competition focused on autonomous capabilities across air, land, and sea.
In the land portion of the competition, DATASPEED’s autonomous platform was equipped with Sensrad’s Hugin D1 4D imaging radar. Sensrad’s technology played a crucial role in navigation, detection and safe maneuvering through complex and unpredictable environments.

“We won the land portion and the overall competition. Your Hugin radar was very instrumental to this win and worked flawlessly.” — Paul Fleck, CEO, Dataspeed
The challenge was held in Alpena, Michigan, and organized by the U.S. Coast Guard and Department of Defense. The competition tested how uncrewed systems perform in real-world scenarios, including dense forests, urban terrain, and varied weather conditions. Exactly the kind of radical, unpredictable situations Hugin D1 was made for.

At Sensrad, we don’t just build high-resolution radar. We enable machines to perceive reality beyond appearances — in motion or at rest, day or night, rain or dust. Hugin D1 sees what others don’t. And this time, it helped secure a win.
